My name is Sera Holland and I am a graphic and textile designer based in Cape Town. I design and create bespoke fabrics which I make into handmade interior products. I also have a wallpaper range. Handmade by me began as a creative outlet for me to create bright and interesting products that I would want in my own home. I am inspired by everything around me, and love to create statement pieces that will get noticed.
The fabrics I use are all high quality natural fiber textiles, and are either digitally printed with eco-friendly water-based inks or screenprinted locally. I also offer a bespoke service whereby I can custom-make items, or create custom designs, or help you get your own designs printed onto fabric or wallpaper.
Handmade by me also offers a full graphic design service. With over 10 years experience across both international design and advertising industries, I can help with anything from logos, invites, brochures, booklets, flyers, magazines, posters etc, and I can also help with social media.

Se this is fantastic!! Well done you!! I was thinking the other day that I wanted to buy some material to make bunting for Hannah’s room and maybe some matching cushions. I’ll have to put my order in when we move to Malawi in April and I have decided on a colour scheme. Hope we get to see you before then!!

Hi Sera, I love you’re mix of food and textiles- very up my street! I am a print textile designer too, I’ve been doing it too long and have always sold my work through an agent and not got involved with printing. I’m really keen to get some designs printed so if you don’t mind me asking where do you get yours done? They look fantastic and very inspiring, I love the fact that you offer a bespoke service.
