I am delighted to let you know that Handmade By Me’s first market for the year will be The Treasury Market THIS saturday in conjunction with the Slowmarket at Oude Libertas in Stellenbosch. We have been at this lovely outdoor market before and I must say it is one of my favourites. It is on all day in the most beautiful venue, and if the weather is gorgeous you can hang out on the grass with an ice-cold beer, have something delicious for lunch, and listen to the live music and just relax. Look out for the special Treasury Market marquee where everything is handmade and beautifully selected and only features on the first saturday of every month. I myself found quite a few brilliant gift ideas last time, like the handmade superhero cape and matching eye mask I bought from Lula by Emma for my little godson (an incredibly genius idea for kids really!).
So I hope to see you there! Please spread the word, just because it’s January doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy go out and yourself just a little bit : )
And along with that great news, I am so happy to say that Mr & Mrs Lifestyle Design is our latest Cape Town stockist! Tucked away in Kloof street, this shop is even more tempting than the chicken aoli sandwiches from across the road at the Tamboerswinkel! (…well almost ; )). But nevertheless this is a shop you don’t want to miss out on, if you’re in the area beware the lovely selection of items stocked here, you will want to take home everything!!
